Our pieces are handcrafted locally using 925 sterling silver & 18K gold plating.

In order to ensure your jewelry’s longevity, we recommend following these care instructions:

Avoid contact with perfumes, creams and alcoholic gels, and remove jewellery before any strenuous activity, hand washing, showering and going to bed.
Store your jewelry individually in the original packaging or a soft pouch to avoid damage.
Casa Alter does not guarantee that its gold plated jewelry will last forever. Gold plated pieces are, by default, more fragile and liable to lose their colour over time, thus they are recommended for occasional wear. The speed at which the gold plating fades will depend on multiple variables from chemical products used for skincare, level of perspiration or even your natural skin PH. For this reason, it is particularly important to take special care of your gold plated jewelry. Clean gently using a soft cloth without any chemicals.

WARRANTY & REPAIRS

We offer a 6-month warranty that covers the cost of all repairs under normal wear.

However, if pieces are noticeably worn, or show improper care, repairs will be performed at cost. Missing gems will be replaced for an additional cost. Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways.

Not considered damage:

Plating discolorations due to usage on gold plated sterling silver.

Oxidation due to unusage or lack of maintenance on sterling silver.

Scratches on metal due to usage.

We are happy to accommodate any repairs outside of warranty.
